Harvard sophomore Christine Cho was named as the 2010 Ivy League
Player of the Year while freshman Katie Sylvan was named the Rookie
of the Year in voting by the league's head coaches. Sylvan
also earned a place on the first team while Cho earned second team
honors - determined by virtue of their individual finish in the Ivy
League Women's Golf Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club in
Springfield, N.J., which took place on April 23, 24 & 25.
All-Ivy first team includes the competition's top-five
finishers, while the second team is comprised of sixth-place
through tenth-place.
Joining the Harvard duo on the all-league teams was senior
Claire Sheldon who finished among the top 10 for the third time in
her career.
The Ivy League Player and Rookie of the Year Awards were voted
on by the seven head women's golf coaches.
