CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's tennis
team has been selected to play in the upcoming NCAA Tournament. The
Crimson will travel to Clemson, S.C. to take on Georgia on Friday,
May 14. The match is slated for a 10 a.m. start at the Hoke
Sloan Tennis Center.

Harvard finished the regular season with a 14-7 record and a 6-1
mark in Ivy League play. At the end of the season, the Crimson
achieved a No. 39 ranking, which is the highest for the team since
Jan. 30, 2007.
The Georgia Bulldogs closed out the season with a 12-8 record and
an 8-3 record in the Southeastern conference. Georgia fell to South
Carolina, 1-4, in the opening round of the SEC tournament. The
Bulldogs are ranked No. 19 in the latest ITA/Campbell's
ranking.
Also playing in the Clemson region are College of Charleston
(20-9) and No. 9 Clemson (22-5). The Cougars will face the
Tigers Friday, May 14 at 1 p.m. The winners of the two first-round
matches will play Saturday, May 15 at 1 p.m.
