CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Tim Murphy, the Thomas Stephenson Family Head Coach for Harvard Football, has announced the names of 28 recruited student-athletes who have accepted offers of admission to Harvard University for the 2012-13 academic year.
A total of 14 states were represented in this year's class after Harvard saw 16 state represented last year, 15 states the year before that and 14 states the year before that. It is a diverse class with no more than five players represented from any one state. California led the way with five players while Ohio had four and Georgia had three.
Indiana, Texas, Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Florida had two selections. The remaining players are from Arizona, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Massachusetts and Louisiana.
