CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – More than 100 women's collegiate tennis players will compete this week at the 2013 USTA/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Regional Championships to be held at the Murr Center at Harvard University Oct. 17 -22.

Team Information
USTA/ITA Regionals
This will be one of 24 USTA/ITA Regional Championships for NCAA Division I men and women taking place over these middle two weekends of October at campuses throughout the country.
What's at Stake
Players are competing for an automatic entry into the 2013 USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships Nov. 7-10 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. Singles and doubles champions will receive a berth.
Scene Setter
Competition is set to begin on Thursday, Oct. 17 with pre-qualifying singles matches, while main draw action is slated for Friday, Oct. 18 through Tuesday, Oct. 22.

Qualifying
Qualifying features a single draw of 32. A singles player must win two matches to stay alive and move into the main draw. Eight spots in the singles main draw are reserved for qualifiers. For the qualifying draw, click here.
Main Draw
The main draw will feature a singles draw of 128 and a doubles draw of 64. In singles, 80 players will compete with 24 receiving byes for the first round. Main draws will be released following the conclusion of the qualifying draw Friday afternoon.
Rank and File
This year's regional field is filled with talent. Five players enter the event ranked in the preseason singles rankings while a pair from Columbia, Bianca Sanon and Kanika Vaidya, is the only tandem in the preseason national rankings. The Lions' duo came in at No. 29.

Parking
On the weekday's spectators will be allowed to park via metered parking in the Gordon Lot.
Due to the Head of the Charles and Harvard's football game against Lafayette, this weekend, event parking will be in the Harvard Business School Parking Lot, which is located directly across the street from the Murr Center. Parking will be $6 per vehicle, per day.
Where to Watch
Specators of the event can watch from the viewing gallery located on the second floor of the Murr Center. Fans are prohibited from viewing the regional at court level.
