CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Fred
Schernecker, The Paul M. Weissman '52 Director of
Harvard Golfm will welcome two players to the women's
golf program for 2013-14.
By Fred Schernecker
Please join me in welcoming our incoming freshmen. The
strength of the incoming class is a further reflection of our
progress. We are thrilled to be adding five players to the
program this year while retaining all of last year's players
– neither the men's nor women's team graduated
any seniors this spring.
Recruiting is one area of our program that is 100% funded by
the Friends of Harvard Golf. Thanks to the generous support
of our Friends, Harvard Golf was once again able to attract a
talented group for the upcoming season.
Keeping with the recent trend, this group is highly decorated
and includes multiple HP Scholastic Junior All-Americans.
Only 12 girls and 12 boys receive this honor each year.
HP Junior Academic All-American selections began in
1988. Following is a complete list of our Harvard players who
