Corinne Bain recorded her sixth straight double-double with 10 kills, 17 assists and six digs. Caroline Walters added 10 kills and three blocks while hitting at a .600 clip, with Grace Weghorst chipping in six kills and seven digs.

Where We Stand
Harvard is currently tied with Brown and Penn for fifth place in the Ivy League standings with a 1-2 record. Princeton is alone atop the standing at 3-0, while Dartmouth, Columbia and Yale find themselves tied for second at 2-1. Cornell rounds out the standings in eighth place with an 0-3 mark.

Fast Start
Harvard began the year 8-3, matching the 1987 squad which started 10-3 for the best record through 11 matches in program history.

Just Keep Winning
Harvard won five consecutive matches between Sept. 13 and Sept. 24, tying the program's longest win streak since taking six in a row in 2008. In 1997, the Crimson reeled off 13 consecutive victories en route to a 25-9 overall record and a perfect 7-0 Ivy League mark.

Cardiac Crimson
The Crimson has displayed a flare for the dramatic this season en route to its 8-4 record. Harvard has trailed after the midway point in 15 of the 26 sets it has won, including a 21-14 deficit against Northeastern which resulted in a 25-23 victory.

All-Around Performer
Sophomore Corinne Bain possesses a unique skillset which allows to her impact the game in every facet. The Manhattan Beach, Calif., native currently ranks among the Ivy League's leaders in kills (13th, 2.51), assists (5th, 6.53), digs (20th, 2.38), blocks (19th, 0.60), hitting percentage (10th, .263) and service aces (1st, 0.49).

Tripling Up
Sophomore Corinne Bain has recorded three triple-doubles this season and boasts nine for her career. Bain, the 2013 Ivy League Rookie of the Year, posted six triple-doubles a year ago, the second highest total by a freshman in the nation.

Nationally Known
Senior Caroline Walters was recognized as both the Sports Imports/AVCA National Player of the Week and the Ivy League Player of the Week on Sept. 23. The San Mateo, Calif., native led the Crimson to a pair of wins the previous weekend, averaging 3.11 kps and 1.11 bps while hitting .422 against Northeastern and Boston College.

Walters' selection as the Sports Imports/AVCA National Player of the Week marked the first time a member of the Ivy League had garnered the award on the women's side. Senior DJ White of the Harvard men's volleyball team earned the honor in 2013, becoming the first Ivy Leaguer overall to be named national player of the week. Walters' Ivy League Player of the Week honor, meanwhile, was the first of her career.

Feeling Honored
Sophomore Corinne Bain was named the Ivy League Player of the Week on Sept. 16 after helping the Crimson to a 2-1 record at the Benson Hospitality Invitational. Bain led Harvard in kills (2.64), assists (6.82) and aces (0.82) while ranking second in digs (2.36), and third in hitting percentage (.333) and blocks (0.55).

This marked the first Ivy League Player of the Week award for Bain this season after collecting one player of the week and five rookie of the week honors last year. Additionally, Bain has been named to the Ivy League Honor Roll in all five weeks of the season.

Can You Dig It?
Junior Sindhu Vegesena earned the starting role for the Crimson at libero and did not disappoint in the team's first weekend of action, averaging 5.91 dps in three matches at the Harvard Invitational and being named to the all-tournament team. Vegesena registered 22 digs in Harvard's first match of the year, a thrilling 3-2 victory over Santa Clara, before setting a new career-high with 34 digs in a 3-0 win over Central Connecticut State.

Vegesena's 34 digs against CCSU were the most by a member of the Crimson in a three-set match since 2008, the last year for which match-by-match statistics are available, and rank as the most in a three-set match in the NCAA this season.
