CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Marisa Romeo netted four goals for the five time this spring, and goalie Kelly Weis turned aside nine shots, but the Harvard women's lacrosse team fell at home to No. 4 Boston College, 13-9, Wednesday evening at Harvard Stadium. The game was broadcast live on ESPN3.

Romeo netted three of her goals on free-position shots, while Sophia Capone added two goals and an assist for a three-point effort for the Crimson (4-4). Audrey Todd also tallied two scores and paced Harvard with four ground balls and two draw controls.

BC (8-2) was led by Covie Stanwick who amassed five points on two goals and three assists, while Sarah Mannelly (4-0-4) and Brooke Blue (3-1-4) each registered four points. Emily Mata played the game in net for the Eagles and finished with five saves. Harvard led in ground balls, 16-15, and shots, 29-25, but BC owned a sizeable advantage in draw controls, 18-6.
