Oosterhout represents Harvard as its only freshman competing at regionals (Athletic Communications).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Four members of the Harvard women's tennis team will travel to Hanover, New Hampshire for the ITA Regional Championship from Oct. 23-26. Freshman Erica Oosterhout, sophomore Annika Ringblom, classmate Nikki Kallenberg and junior June Lee were selected by the East region to compete in this year's tournament, hosted by Dartmouth.
Last Time Out
The women's tennis team traveled to New Haven, Connecticut to compete in the three-day Bulldog Invite, hosted by Yale, in which they faced Rutgers on Friday, a hybrid team of Columbia and Yale on Saturday and Yale on Sunday. Overall the team finished with a 15-9 record. Nikki Kallenberg and Amy he lead the Crimson as they went undefeated at the invite.

COOP Student-Athlete of the Week
Senior Amanda Lin and sophomore Annika Ringblom were both honored as COOP Student-Athlete of the Week back-to-back times. Ringblom was selected from Sept. 22-26, while Lin won the week of Sept. 29-Oct. 3. Lin also posted a record-setting number of votes. Nikki Kallenberg was later named COOP Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 13-17.

Back in Crimson
Sophomores Nikki Kallenberg, Annika Ringblom, Ellen Jang-Milsten, juniors June Lee and Danielle Mirda, and seniors Amy He and Amanda Lin returned from the 2014-15 squad that went 7-12 overall. Kallenberg enters the 2015 season ranked No. 98 by the ITA and Ringblom was named to the All-Ivy League second team in doubles, concluding the season recording a 16-12 season with a partner, including 3-4 mark in Ivy League play.

Fresh Faces
Head Coach Traci Green added the eighth-best recruiting class in the country according to TennisRecruiting.net. Erica Oosterhout, Sabrina Xiong and Claire Spackman come to Harvard from around the world to make up Harvard's third consecutive top-10 class, and fifth in the past seven seasons.
On the Sidelines
Traci Green enters her ninth season at the helm for the Crimson. Under her guidance, Harvard won the program's 18th Ivy League title in 2009 with a 13-8 overall record and a 6-1 conference mark. Green owns a 114-103 overall record, including an 80-75 mark over the past nine seasons.
Aye Aye, Captain
Senior Amy He was chosen to be the team's captain for the 2015-16 academic year. He is the 53rd captain in program history.
ITA Northeast Regional Championship
The Big Green will host the ITA Northeast Regional Championship which runs from Oct. 22-27. Out of the 37 teams traveling to Dartmouth, seven of the Ancient Eight teams will represent the Ivy League this year. The Crimson posted an 11-8 overall record at the regionals last year in singles and doubles events. Out of the six student-athletes that competed, June Lee was the only one to advance to the singles semifinals while doubles pair of Ellen Jang-Milsten and Sylvia Li lost in the quarterfinals.
Scouting Harvard
- Annika Ringblom, the Palos Verdes Estates, California native, started the fall season with an 8-2 record and a singles title from the Harvard Fall Classic. The sophomore enters her second time at regionals after losing in the opening match last year.
- Nikki Kallenberg opened the season ranked No. 98 in the ITA preseason poll, Kallenberg has posted a team-best 8-1 record this season. As a freshman, she competed in the ITA Regionals last year and won her opening singles match.
- Erica Oosterhout from Tampa, Florida kicked off her debut in Crimson with a 5-2 record after an appearance at two tournaments this fall. Oosterhout will represent Harvard as its only freshman at regionals.
- June Lee will enter her third time representing Harvard at the regionals. As a sophomore, Lee blew past her bracket as she advanced to the semifinals concluding her run 4-1. During her freshman time at regionals, she lost after the second match posting a 1-1 record.
