Ringblom secures Harvard's lone singles victory against the Tigers (Athletic Communications).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Looking to rebound after falling on Saturday to Penn, Harvard women's tennis succumbed to a late surge by No. 53 Princeton in singles play, falling 5-2.

Harvard (7-9, 0-4 Ivy) gained its only singles victory from the racquet of Annika Ringblom, 6-2, 6-3, from the second singles position. The win was Ringblom's 10th of the season, and she became the seventh student-athlete this season to break into double-digit wins.

The Crimson earned an early 1-0 lead over Princeton (11-7, 5-0 Ivy) after winning the doubles point. Ringblom and Monica Lin topped Princeton's top duo at No. 1 doubles, 8-6, while June Lee and Amanda Lin earned an 8-5 victory from No. 3 doubles.

Harvard remains at home on Friday, April 17 with a matchup against Yale. The doubles matches will commence at 2 p.m.
