CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis begins its 2015 schedule with the Harvard Fall Classic Sept. 18-20. The tournament will include Boston College, Boston University, Columbia, Connecticut, Wake Forest and Yale.

Back in Crimson
Sophomores Nikki Kallenberg, Annika Ringblom, Ellen Jang-Milsten, juniors June Lee and Danielle Mirda, and seniors Amy He and Amanda Lin return from the 2014-15 squad that went 7-12 overall. Kallenberg enters the 2015 season ranked No. 98 by the ITA and Ringblom was named to the All-Ivy League second team a doubles, concluding the season recording a 16-12 season with a partner, including 3-4 mark in Ivy League play.

Fresh Faces
Head Coach Traci Green added the eighth-best recruiting class in the country according to TennisRecruiting.net. Erica Oosterhout, Sabrina Xiong and Claire Spackman come to Harvard from around the world to make up Harvard's third consecutive top-ten class, and fifth in the past seven seasons.
On the Sidelines
Traci Green enters her ninth season at the helm for the Crimson. Under her guidance, Harvard won the program's 18th Ivy League title in 2009 with a 13-8 overall record and a 6-1 conference mark. Green owns a 114-103 overall record, including a 80-75 mark over the past nine seasons.
Aye Aye, Captain
Senior Amy He was chosen to be the team's captain for the 2015-16 academic year. He is the 53rd captain in program history.
Scouting Boston College
The Eagles will open its season at the classic after posting a 13-12 overall record and 7-7 conference record last year. Returning for Boston College is Junior Lexi Borr who drew an ITA preseason singles ranking of No. 90 after a 13-6 singles record last year and sophomore Asiya Dair who tied for the No. 96 after her 16-9 record as a freshman.
Scouting Boston University
The Terriers concluded last season defending its Patriot League title and earning its 15th NCAA berth after posting a 14-7 overall record. Freshmen Sabrina Faybyshev, Kaely Malik, Remi Ramos and Kate Semashka make up the 11th-best recruiting class nationally among mid-major programs according to TennisRecruiting.net.
Scouting Columbia
The Lions closed the 2015 season with an overall record of 12-8 and 4-3 in Ivy League play. According to TennisRecruiting.net, freshmen Sarah Hu, Andrea Kevakian, Star Makarome and Rani Rachavelpula give Columbia the No. 6 ranked class. Returning for the Lions is senior Kanika Vaidya, who received first team singles All-Ivy League honors and sophomore Rima Asatrian, who received second team singles All-Ivy League honors.
Scouting Connecticut
The Huskies open its 2015 fall season with the Harvard Fall Classic bringing along a No. 21 ranked freshmen class including Jacquelyn Fitz-Randolph, Jacqueline Lazaro and Gillian Perrotta, according to TennisRecruiting.net.
Scouting Wake Forest
The Demon Deacons opened its 2015 fall season at the Elon Invitational in Elon, N.C. and posted a second-place finish with a doubles pair of Xue Zhang and Courtney Meredith and fourth-place finish with a doubles pair of Joanna Zalewski and Andrea Retolaza. Zalewski also fell in the finals in singles action.
Scouting Yale
Yale completed last season with a 9-11 overall record and 3-4 Ivy League record. Freshmen Caroline Amos, Sonal Shrivastava and Amy Yang join the Bulldogs forming the No. 24 recruiting class in the nation. Finishing the season, Yale attained the No. 69 spot in national rankings and No. 7 spot in the northeast regional rankings.
