CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis continues its 2015 schedule with the Brown Invitational Sept. 25-27. The tournament will include Boston College, Boston University, Columbia, Connecticut, Wake Forest and Yale.
Last Time Out
Ringblom finished the Harvard Invitational as the winner of the singles green division after beating freshman Emma Davis from Wake Forest 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. Jang-Milsten also ended up on top after ousting Demon Deacon Luisa Fernandez 6-4 and 6-3 in singles blue play. Oosterhout lost to Boston College's Lexi Borr, 6-1, 6-1, closing out her first collegiate finals appearance. Harvard's doubles pair of Jasper and Jang-Milsten were not able to take the title as Wake Forest's Fernandez and Retolaza won 8-2.

Back in Crimson
Sophomores Nikki Kallenberg, Annika Ringblom, Ellen Jang-Milsten, juniors June Lee and Danielle Mirda, and seniors Amy He and Amanda Lin return from the 2014-15 squad that went 7-12 overall. Kallenberg enters the 2015 season ranked No. 98 by the ITA and Ringblom was named to the All-Ivy League second team a doubles, concluding the season recording a 16-12 season with a partner, including 3-4 mark in Ivy League play.

Fresh Faces
Head Coach Traci Green added the eighth-best recruiting class in the country according to TennisRecruiting.net. Erica Oosterhout, Sabrina Xiong and Claire Spackman come to Harvard from around the world to make up Harvard's third consecutive top-ten class, and fifth in the past seven seasons.
On the Sidelines
Traci Green enters her ninth season at the helm for the Crimson. Under her guidance, Harvard won the program's 18th Ivy League title in 2009 with a 13-8 overall record and a 6-1 conference mark. Green owns a 114-103 overall record, including a 80-75 mark over the past nine seasons.
Aye Aye, Captain
Senior Amy He was chosen to be the team's captain for the 2015-16 academic year. He is the 53rd captain in program history.
Scouting Boston University
The Terriers concluded last season defending its Patriot League title and earning its 15th NCAA berth after posting a 14-7 overall record. Freshmen Sabrina Faybyshev, Kaely Malik, Remi Ramos and Kate Semashka make up the 11th-best recruiting class nationally among mid-major programs according toTennisRecruiting.net.
Scouting Brown
The Bears wrapped up last season with a strong 11-9 overall record and a 4-3 Ivy League record. Junior Dayna Lord received a No. 118 singles player Intercollegiate Tennis Association national ranking.
Scouting Rutgers
The Scarlet Knights closed out the 2015 season with a 6-14 overall and 0-11 Big Ten record. Rutgers opens the fall slate with an appearance at the Brown Invitational.
Scouting St. John's
Last season, St. John's posted a 14-9 overall record and a 5-1 Big East record, losing in the conference finals against DePaul. In its opening weekend of play, the Red Storm swept the Stony Brook Classic in all four singles draws and one of the two doubles flights two weeks ago.
Scouting Stony Brook
The Seawolves wrapped up the 2015 season with a northeast regional ranking of eight, the program's first season-ending ranking. Stony Brook held a 15-2 overall record and a 5-0 in the America East.
Scouting UMass
The Minutewomen are looking to build upon last year's Atlantic 10 runner-up finish after one of the most successful seasons in program history. UMass finished the year with a stunning 17-5 overall record and an undefeated conference record, 4-0.
