Men's Soccer Drops Double OT Heartbreaker to Brown, 1-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Harvard men's soccer team (3-9, 1-2 Ivy) dropped a double overtime heartbreaker to Brown (6-5, 1-2 Ivy) on Saturday night in Providence. While the Crimson stayed competitive wire-to-wire and registered a season high 16 shots, the Bears capitalized on an opportunity in the 103rd minute to take the win.

Through a scoreless but competitive first half, Harvard totaled eight shots to Brown's seven while Matt Freese made three saves in goal. Through the second half of play, Brown picked up the pace and had a few good looks in the final minutes of regulation, but the Crimson held off the Bears to force extra time. Following the first overtime period where Harvard managed to get two shots off, Brown converted in the 103rd minute for the victory.
