The Crimson hosts Boston College and Syracuse this weekend (Gil Talbot). 

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's tennis team returns to the Murr Center Tennis Courts this weekend with dual matches against Boston College (Saturday) and Syracuse (Sunday). Both matches will be broadcast on the Ivy League Network.

Last Time Out
Harvard is coming off a 4-1 win over rival Yale at the ECAC Championships on Feb. 11. Junior Erica Oosterhout and sophomore Natasha Gonzalez knocked off Yale's Caroline Amos and Sunday Swett in second doubles, 6-1, while freshman Neha Gupta and junior Isabel Jasper won third doubles, 6-2. In singles, Gonzalez sealed the match for the Crimson with a two-set, 7-6, 6-4, third singles win.

Scouting Harvard
Harvard (4-5, 0-0 Ivy) is 97-49 in singles and 30-19 in doubles in 2017-2018. Freshman Neha Gupta leads the Crimson with an 11-4 singles mark, while junior Erica Oosterhout, sophomore Irene Lu, and freshman Anna Li each have 11 wins. Doubles tandem, Oosterhout and sophomore Natasha Gonzalez has posted a 9-3 record, while senior Annika Ringblom and freshman Anna Li have also registered an identical 9-3 mark.

Scouting Boston College
Boston College (4-3, 0-2 ACC) is coming off a 7-0 sweep of Yale on Feb. 17. Junior Jackie Urbinati and sophomore Kylie Wilcox led the Eagles to the win with a 6-3 victory in first doubles, while senior Asiya Dair battled Samantha Martinelli to the two-set, 7-5, 6-3, win in first singles. Wilcox picked up her, team-leading, 13th singles win of the season with a 7-5, 6-1 win in second singles.

Scouting Syracuse
Syracuse (6-1, 1-1 ACC) sits at No. 43 in the latest ITA rankings, led by junior Gabriela Knutson who is ranked No. 18 with an 11-10 singles mark. Additionally, Knutson and her doubles partner, sophomore Miranda Ramirez is ranked No. 18 in doubles registering nine of the Orange's 20 doubles victories on the season.

In the Rankings
Junior Erica Oosterhout, who climbed as high as No. 40 in the Oracle/ITA singles rankings, is currently sitting at No. 70 in the latest rankings. Compiling an 11-1 singles record and a 10-5 doubles mark, she defeated nationally-ranked, St. John's Jessica Livianu earlier in the season.

ITA All-Academic Team
Six members of the 2016-2017 Harvard women's tennis team was recognized by the International Tennis Association (ITA). Natasha Gonzalez, June Lee, Irene Lu, Lexi Milunovich, Annika Ringblom and Sabrina earned All-Academic Team honors with a 3.5 GPA or better.

The Harvard women's tennis class of 2021 includes Neha Gupta (Elk Grove, Calif./Cosumnes Oaks), Jenna Moustafa (Los Angeles, Calif./Harvard-Westlake), Lia Kiam (New York, N.Y./Nightingale-Bamford) and Anna Li (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny).

Leading the Way
Traci Green, the Sheila Kelly Palandjian Head Coach for Harvard women's tennis, enters her 11th season as the second winningest coach in Crimson women's tennis history with a 109-94 record. Last season she guided Harvard to a 17-8 overall record, including a 5-2 Ivy League record as well as picked up her 100th and 101st career victories in duals against Stony Brook and Providence.
