CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –  Harvard women's tennis (6-7) picked up a pair of, 7-0 shutouts against Marist (4-4), and Providence (3-10) on Saturday afternoon.

Harvard 7, Marist 0

Harvard began the day blanking Marist, 7-0. The Crimson began strong, winning the doubles point. Senior Annika Ringblom and freshman Anna Li earned their 10th win together, knocking off Chloe Lant and Sophia Moeller in first doubles, 6-2. Sophomore Natasha Gonzalez and freshman Jenna Moustafa took third doubles form Claire Schmitz and Elizabeth Brozoch, 6-2, junior Isabel Jasper and freshman Neha Gupta held a commanding, 5-2 lead in second doubles.

In the singles portion of the competition, the top of the Crimson lineup was dominant. Junior Erica Oosterhout improved to 13-2 blanking Lant in first singles, 6-0, 6-0, while sophomore Irene Lu defeated Julia Gabay in two sets (6-0, 6-3). Gonzalez made quick work of Schmitz in third singles with a decisive, two-set, 6-0, 6-2, victory.

Jasper held off a late comeback from Sophia Chavarria in sixth singles. The Newton, Massachusetts native took the first set, 6-4, but Chavarria evened the match edging out Jasper in the second set, 7-5. However, Jasper was able to pull out the third set with a 10-5 tie-breaker.

Harvard 7, Providence 0

In a carbon copy of the first game, Harvard rolled its momentum over into the second game, blanking Providence, 7-0. The Crimson won the doubles point behind a 6-0 second doubles win from Oosterhout and Gonzalez, who also earned their 10th win as a doubles team. 

Oosterhout improved to 8-1 in her last nine singles matches with a two-set, 6-0, 6-3 victory over Risa Takenaka. Ringblom blanked Aidan Epstein in two sets, 6-0, 6-0, in third singles while sophomore Jenna Friedel picked up a commanding 6-1, 6-2 win in second singles.

Freshman Lia Kiam earned the second dual match victory of her career, battling Natalie Pitocco to the 7-5, 6-2 win in sixth singles.

• Doubles partners, senior Annika Ringblom and freshman Anna Li improve to 10-5 in doubles with a 6-2 win over Marist in first doubles.
• Junior Erica Oosterhout and sophomore Natasha kept pace, improving to 10-5 in doubles with a 6-0 shutout over Providence in second doubles.
• Oosterhout moved to 14-2 in singles, blanking Marist's Chloe Lant in first singles (6-0, 6-0) and defeating Providence's Risa Takenaka (6-0, 6-3).
