NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Harvard women's tennis (11-8, 3-0 Ivy) extended its winning streak to five matches with a 6-1 win over Yale (6-14, 0-3 Ivy) on Sunday afternoon. 

After dropping the doubles point, the Crimson responded with a strong showing in singles, sweeping all six matches. Junior Erica Oosterhout led the way, battling the Bulldogs' Samantha Martinelli to the 6-4, 7-6 win in first singles. Trailing 0-1 in third singles, sophomore Irene Lu made quick work of Valerie Shklover in the second and third sets, 6-1, 6-0. 

Fellow sophomore, Lexi Milunovich also picked up a three-set win over Elizabeth Zordani in fifth singles, 6-2, 5-7, 10-2, while senior Annika Ringblom knocked off Lauren Gillinov in two sets, 6-0, 6-1.  

Oosterhout and sophomore Natasha Gonzalez picked up the lone doubles win for the Crimson, defeating Shklover and Amy Yang in second doubles, 6-1.

Harvard Highlights

• Junior Erica Oosterhout earned her 18th singles win of the season with a two-set, 6-4, 7-6 win in first singles.
• Oosterhout and doubles partner, sophomore Natasha Gonzalez earned the Crimson's lone doubles win, with a 6-1 win in second doubles.
• Sophomore Irene Lu made a comeback in third singles after dropping the first set, 2-6, to defeat Valerie Shklover, 6-1 and 6-0 in the second and third sets.

What's Next
Harvard returns to the courts next weekend, April 14 and 15, hosting Columbia and Cornell, respectively, at 1 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast on the Ivy League Network.
