CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Returning to home court for the first time in 11 matches, the Harvard women's volleyball team (7-8, 4-2 Ivy League) topped Cornell 3-1 (5-9, 1-5 Ivy League) tonight, Oct. 15, at the Malkin Athletic Center. The Crimson defeated the Big Red by set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 16-25 and 25-19.
Three Crimson players notched double-digit kills in tonight's contest, led by sophomore

Jaimie Rao and sophomore
Katie Vorhies have consistently recorded double figures as well, totaling 12 and 10 tonight against the Big Red, respectively. Rao registered one of her best hitting percentages of the season off of 12 kills and just three errors to hit at a .375 clip. Sophomore

Rocky Aguirre shared setting duties, as Almanza dished out a team-high 24 assists and Aguirre notched 16 helpers.
In the backcourt, first-year
Lindsey Zhang guided the Crimson's defense with a team-best 15 digs. First-year
Teia Piette provided support with six digs, while Almanza, Aguirre and Rao all posted five apiece. Harvard dominated at the net tonight, putting up 18 block assists on the scoresheet. Sophomore
