CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's volleyball team (7-9 overall, 4-3 Ivy League) fell to Columbia (5-11, 2-6 Ivy League) in three sets tonight, Oct. 16, at the Malkin Athletic Center. The Lions defeated the Crimson by set scores of 18-25, 23-25 and 26-28.
For the second-straight night, sophomore
Nicole Prescott led the Crimson attack with 14 kills. Prescott hit with efficiency tonight, registering a team-best .344 hitting percentage with just three errors. Sophomore
Katie Vorhies joined Prescott in double figure kills with 10 of her own, her 11th match this season with double-digits. Junior co-captain
Jaimie Rao provided support with seven kills. First-year
Rocky Aguirre led the Crimson with 17 assists, while sophomore
Bella Almanza dished out 15.

Lindsey Zhang added seven digs of her own. At the net, Harvard recorded six team blocks led by three from both Vorhies and sophomore
Olivia Cooper.
