CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore
Mazarine Broze had a goal and an assist to lead No. 12 Harvard field hockey (8-1, 2-0 Ivy) to a comeback 3-1 win over Penn (3-6, 0-2 Ivy) at Berylson Field.
The Crimson trailed 1-0 at the half after Penn's Olivia Kelly scored with 2:04 remaining in the second quarter to give the visitors the lead.
But Harvard rallied in the second half, as senior captain
Hannah Pearce scored 7:32 into the third quarter on a penalty corner to tie the game.
Then Broze scored on a redirection off another Harvard penalty corner, 4:30 into the fourth quarter to give Harvard the lead.
With Penn's net empty for an extra field player,
Megan Joel sealed the win with a goal from just in front of the net to make it 3-1.
