Box Score CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's soccer team (4-3-2, 0-0-1 Ivy) put up a 2-1 scoreline against Boston University (1-8-1, 1-3-0 Patriot) on Tuesday night at Jordan Field.
All three goals were scored in the first 23 minutes of play, with
Martin Vician getting Harvard on the board early, Boston University holding a short-lived tie before
Alessandro Arlotti won it for the Crimson.
Vician scored his second of the season 3:10 into the opening period. After
James Fahmy picked the ball off a BU player and launched it from the Harvard defensive end, Vician approached the 18 yard box and chipped it past Wike. In the 14th minute, the Terriers responded with a shot right out front that sailed into the left side of the net. The final mark on the scoreboard came when
Willem Ebbinge fed the ball along the BU goal line, drawing Wike out for the save before Arlotti redirected it with his boot for the score.
