Women’s Tennis Releases Spring 2022 Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard Women's Tennis team released its schedule for the 2022 spring season today, Nov. 12. The Crimson will play 10 matches at home and 15 matches away from Cambridge this spring.
 
Harvard starts its season with a trip to Champaign to take on the Fighting Illini of Illinois on Jan. 20.
 
The Crimson will return home quickly and host Quinnipiac on Jan. 22, before welcoming Boston College and Hofstra the following weekend for matches on Jan. 29 and Jan. 30, respectively. 
 
The homestand continues with a doubleheader on Feb. 5, against 2021 NCAA participant Boston University in the morning and Sacred Heart in the afternoon. 
 
Harvard will travel to the campus of Cornell in Ithaca, N.Y., for the ECAC championships, Feb. 11-13. The following weekend, the Crimson will head back to Illinois, this time to Evanston to take on a Northwestern team on Feb. 20 that reached the second round of last season's NCAA championship. Harvard will also face Miami of Ohio on Feb. 21.
 
After a weekend off, the Crimson will travel to Old Dominion for a match with the Monarchs on March 6. A season ago, ODU reached the second round of the NCAA tournament.
 
The Crimson takes a road trip the following week when they head down to Orlando, Fla., for a few matches in the sunshine state. On March 15, Harvard will compete in a doubleheader, first against East Tennessee State and followed by Navy.
 
Continuing their Florida stay, Harvard will compete against the Central Florida (March 18) and BYU (March 19), before coming home to wrap up its non-conference schedule by playing host to Massachusetts (March 26).
 
Harvard's Ivy League slate begins with a trip to Dartmouth to take on the Big Green on April 2, followed by a weekend in Cambridge, as it will welcome Columbia (April 9) and Cornell (April 10).
 
Six days after facing the Big Red, the Crimson will head to Princeton (April 16), before stopping at Penn (April 17) on the way back home.
 
The regular season will come to an end with a home-away split. First is a home match against Brown on April 22, followed by a trip to Yale on April 24.
