CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In its final home weekend of the season, the Harvard women's volleyball team (10-12, 7-6 Ivy League) fell in straight sets to Brown (19-4, 12-1 Ivy League) tonight, Nov. 12, at the Malkin Athletic Center. The Ivy League champion Bears defeated the Crimson by set scores of 21-25, 14-25 and 10-25.
Junior co-captain
Jaimie Rao led the Crimson attack with eight kills. Sophomore
Olivia Cooper provided support to Harvard's offensive efforts with five kills, while sophomore
Ashley Wang recorded four. Cooper hit at a team-best .400 clip with five kills and one error. Wang registered a team-high 13 assists, while sophomore
Bella Almanza dished out eight.
First-year
Lindsey Zhang posted 11 digs, with help from first-year
Teia Piette who notched seven. Sophomore
Katie Vorhies added two blocks at the net, while Cooper and sophomores
Nicole Prescott and
Ava Rauser each tallied one.
