BOSTON, Mass. – Opening the Northeastern Tournament in its second-straight weekend of tournament play, the Harvard women's volleyball team (1-3, 0-0) fell, 3-0, to Bryant on day one of competition at Northeastern. The Crimson was edged by set scores of 20-25, 21-25 and 23-25.
Sophomore
Ashley Wang led the Crimson attack, registering 12 kills and just two errors to hit at a .556 clip. Wang added a double-double to her tally, dishing out 10 assists. Junior
Jaimie Rao followed closely behind Wang with 11 kills and a .308 hitting percentage. First-year
Rocky Aguirre set up Harvard's offense with a team-leading 11 assists.
Leading the front and the back court, Aguirre recorded her first career double-double after adding a team-high 12 digs to her tally. Wang nearly posted a triple-double, aiding the Crimson's defensive efforts as well with nine digs. Guarding the net, Wang topped the line up with four blocks while sophomore
Olivia Cooper registered three.

Harvard returns for day two of the Northeastern Tournament tomorrow, Sept. 11. The Crimson will begin the day against Villanova at 3 p.m., before closing out the tournament against host Northeastern at 7 p.m.
