Men’s Soccer Posts 1-1 Draw at Bryant

Box Score SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Harvard men's soccer (1-0-1) battled Bryant (1-3-1) through two overtime periods to a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon.
 
Bryant opened scoring in the 25th minute on a header into the top right corner of the net. Nico Garcia-Morillo evened the score in the 44th minute, crossing the ball into the lower right corner from 15 yards out. Sophomore Ale Gutierrez notched his first career assist on the play. Despite a late answer from Harvard, the Crimson made ample opportunity in the opening 45, outshooting the Bulldogs 15-2.
 
Through a scoreless second half, Harvard maintained its shot advantage at 24-8 before entering overtime. Neither team was able to secure the golden goal during two 10-minute periods, ending the game in a 1-1 draw.
