PRINCETON, N.J. – No. 18 Harvard men's water polo took down George Washington University, 15-11, leaving the Princeton Invitational with a 3-0 showing.
Sophomore
Kaleb Archer continued his scoring prowess with a goal just 14 seconds in, and the Crimson (6-1) never looked back. First-year
Andrej Basica and junior
Michael Sonsini quickly added goals of their own to give Harvard an early 3-0 advantage. Basica added another before the half along with fellow first-years
Tyler Zarcu and
Alex James, to give the Crimson a 9-6 lead at the half.
Junior goalie
Noah Hodge came up big in the second half as he tallied 12 saves in the game to limit the Colonials. Archer found the back of the net two more times in the second half while Zarcu also added another. A total of 10 different Crimson student-athletes got on the scoresheet for Harvard, as they put the finishing touches on an undefeated weekend.

Harvard is set for a pair of home games at the Harvard Mini Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 18. The Crimson will take on George Washington University at 9:00 a.m. before a 6:30 p.m. matchup with Brown. Both games will be played at Blodgett Pool and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
