Three From Men’s Water Polo Earn All-America Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After enjoying success in the pool during the 2025 season, Harvard men's water polo student-athletes Jack Burghardt, Lukas Peabody and Tyler Hogan were named Honorable Mention All-America by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC). Tied for the most All-America selections for the program since the 2019 season, the trio helped guide the Crimson to a 20-10 record – including a 9-1 mark in CWPA action – during the 2025 campaign.

Harvard's three Honorable Mention All-America selections are the most for the program since the 2021 season and the second consecutive season that three athletes have earned All-America status. These honors extend Harvard's streak to 12 consecutive seasons with at least one All-America selection.

Now a two-time All-American, Jack Burghardt was the leader of the Crimson offense in 2025, netting 106 goals in what was a career year for the junior. A Cutino Award Watch List nominee, Burghardt's goal total was good for the fourth highest in a season in Harvard men's water polo history.

Lukas Peabody netted 62 goals on the year to more than double his production from his rookie season. The outburst in 2025 helped the San Diego native secure All-America status for the first time in his young career.

One of the best defenders in the CWPA, sophomore Tyler Hogan earned All-America honors for the first time in his career in 2025. With 34 goals and 15 assists, the California native set career highs in both categories this season.
