CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Heading out for its second-straight tournament on the road, the Harvard women's volleyball team (1-5, 0-0) will travel to Washington, D.C. for the Howard Invitational, Sept. 17-18. The Crimson will first take on No. 13 Oregon at 1 p.m. and Howard at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17. Harvard will close out the tournament against American at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18.

Ashley Wang registered her first triple-double of her career against Northeastern last weekend, tallying 28 assists, 13 digs and 10 kills. The sophomore has now recorded double-digit assists in each of the Crimson's six matches this season.

Rocky Aguirre rank 21st and 37th in the nation in service aces per set with .57 and .53, respectively. Harvard tops the Ivy League in service aces with 1.81 per set, while Aguirre and Wang sit at first and third in the conference ranking, respectively.
- The Crimson will look for its program's first win over American, trailing in the series 0-3. Harvard will face Oregon and Howard for the first time in program history.

Jennifer Weiss enters her 29th season at the helm of the Harvard women's volleyball program. Weiss has accumulated a 153-168 Ivy record, has led the Crimson to three Ivy League titles and has guided 82 All-Ivy selections during her tenure.
