CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Starting off with a bang, the Harvard men's tennis team defeated Boston College today in its first dual match of the spring season. Dropping only one doubles match, the Crimson took down the Eagles by a score of 7-0.
Despite dropping the first doubles match, the Crimson roared back to take the second and third, capturing the point for Harvard. Soundly taking out their BC opponents, the duo of sophomore
Ronan Jachuck/junior Harry Walker won 6-2, while the team of senior
Steven Sun/first-year
David Lins secured the point with their 6-1 scoreline.
Moving into singles play, the Crimson was unstoppable. All Harvard players soundly defeated their competition, not even dropping a set, with the perfect victory ultimately being captured by sophomore
