Blokhin Named Ivy League Rookie of the Year; Four Men’s Tennis Student-Athletes Earn All-Ivy Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's tennis had four student-athletes land on All-Ivy teams following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, the conference announced today.

Nathan Blokhin headlined the year-end honors for the Crimson, becoming the 10th player in program history to be named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year. Blokhin was also named Second Team All-Ivy for singles following a dominant first-year in Cambridge. To cap off a breakout junior season, Rohan Murali was a unanimous selection for First Team All-Ivy for singles. The junior was also Honorable Mention All-Ivy for doubles with Kolos Kincses and was named to the Academic All-Ivy Team. Benjamin Privara rounded out the honors for the Crimson with his second Honorable Mention All-Ivy nod for singles in as many seasons.

Nathan Blokhin | Unanimous Rookie of the Year, Second Team All-Ivy Singles

A Crimson student-athlete was named Ivy League Rookie of the Year for the second consecutive season as Blokhin became the 10th Harvard player to win the award in program history. The first-year was a strong and consistent presence for Harvard all year long, accumulating 24 singles wins and 10 doubles wins. Blokhin's singles record of 24-7 was the best of any Crimson player in 2025-26. In the dual season alone, Blokhin had a record of 16-3 while playing primarily at the No. 3 spot. The Florida native tallied an unblemished 5-0 record in the Ivy League season and also held leads in his two abandoned matches. Throughout his first season, Blokhin reached a high of No. 27 in the ITA Division I Men's Singles Rankings and accumulated three ranked wins.

Rohan Murali | Unanimous First Team All-Ivy Singles

Murali tallied his second All-Ivy honor of his career following a breakout junior season. The California native had the second-most singles wins this season with a record of 20-10. Murali began his season at the No. 2 spot before moving up to the top singles spot in the second half of the year. The junior accumulated four top-30 wins throughout the spring, defeating No. 7 Paul Inchauspe (Princeton), No. 14 Ozan Baris (Michigan State), No. 21 Romain Gales (Clemson), and No. 29 Vignesh Gogineni (Yale). Murali's gritty win over Inchauspe handed the Princeton player his first loss of the dual season and helped lift the Crimson over the Tigers earlier this month.

Benjamin Privara | Honorable Mention All-Ivy Singles

Privara received Honorable Mention All-Ivy for singles for the second time in as many seasons following another solid campaign. Privara tallied 11 singles wins this season including three during Ivy League play while competing at the No. 2 singles spot. The Slovakia native also recorded a ranked win this season, defeating No. 11 ranked player Martin Borisiouk (NC State) in February.

Rohan Murali and Kolos Kincses | Honorable Mention All-Ivy Doubles

The duo of Murali and Kincses were a consistent presence for the Crimson in its doubles lineup this spring. The Harvard pairing recorded a 15-5 record in the dual season and accumulated 20 total wins throughout 2025-26. Murali and Kincses played primarily at the No. 2 spot but bumped up to the top doubles spot late in the season. The pair recorded two ranked wins, defeating the No. 76 ranked duo in January and the No. 87 ranked pairing in February.
