CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's tennis will return to action for the first time in the fall of 2026 when it hosts its annual tournament, Chowderfest, beginning Friday, September 18.

What to Know

• This marks the fourth straight season that the Crimson will open its fall campaign with its home event, Chowderfest.
• The three-day event will be played at the Beren Tennis Center and will welcome teams from across the country.
• Action will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, followed by 9:00 a.m. starts on Saturday and Sunday.
• The Crimson returns much of its lineup from a season ago, including Rohan Murali and Nathan Blokhin, who each tallied more than 20 singles wins last season. Both returners were recently ranked inside the top 50 of the ITA Division I Men's Singles Preseason Rankings. Benjamin Privara joined them in the rankings, checking in at No. 76.
• Murali was also ranked No. 74 in the preseason doubles rankings alongside teammate Kolos Kincses. The duo led Harvard with a 21-7 record last season.
• This fall, the Crimson will compete in eight individual tournaments leading up to the NCAA Individual Championships in mid-November. Along with Chowderfest, Harvard will host the ITA New England Regionals beginning October 8 and the Battle of Boston during the weekend of November 6.
• Harvard will look to build on last season's individual success after sending two singles players to the NCAA Championships. Privara and Melchior Delloye represented the Crimson at the tournament, marking the first time since 2023 that Harvard had multiple qualifiers.
• Ahead of the 2026-27 season, the Crimson added five first-years to its roster to make up the Class of 2030. Included in the class is Bill Chan, Zachary Cohen, RJ Kuo, Evan Sharygin, and David Wu. Chan was ranked No. 20 in the ITA Division I Men's Newcomer Rankings.
• This season marks Andrew Rueb's ninth year at the helm. A former Crimson standout himself, Rueb has accumulated 124 wins and has sent five singles players and one doubles pairing to the NCAA Tournament during his tenure as head coach.
