CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – First-year overhead hitter Brynne Faltinksy of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week today (Oct. 17).
Faltinsky had an excellent weekend, proving to be a vital part of both of the Crimson's victories over Cornell and Columbia. She lead the team in kills for both matches, scoring a personal record 13 kills in each match. She also added her first collegiate solo block to her resume in Saturday's match against Columbia. Faltinsky scored 28 points throughout the weekned with kills and blocks combined, leading the Crimson in this metric as well.
Harvard volleyball (4-11, 3-4 Ivy) will head to Hanover, N.H. to face off against Dartmouth this Friday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. The match will air on ESPN+.
