ATLANTA, Ga. – Harvard University women's swimming and diving senior Felicia Pasadyn opened competition at the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships with a 35^th-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley on Thursday morning at Georgia Tech's McAuley Aquatic Center.
 
Competing on the second day of the championships, Pasadyn tallied a season-best time of 1:57.36 in the 200 IM, marking the Crimson's top time in the event this year. Pasadyn eclipsed the NCAA B cut time of 1:59.94 as well as her previous season-best time of 1:58.25, finishing in the top half of the 76-swimmer field. She took second place in heat three.
 
Pasadyn is set to take part in the 400-yard individual medley tomorrow and the 200-yard backstroke on Saturday. Sophomore diver Elizabeth Miclau will join Pasadyn in NCAA competition with the 3-meter on Friday and platform diving on Saturday.
 
Pasadyn qualified for the 400 IM (event 8) with an NCAA B cut time of 4:10.45 (32^nd overall) and the 200 back (event 16) with an NCAA B cut time of 1:53.58 (26^th overall). At the 2022 Ivy League Championships, Pasadyn won both the 400 IM and 200 back, while helping the Crimson capture the 800 free relay. She also placed second in the 200 IM, posting NCAA B cut times in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 back.
