CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University women's swimming and diving senior Felicia Pasadyn has earned the Elite 90 award for the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championship.
 
An integrative biology concentrator and two-time Academic All-Ivy selection, Pasadyn currently carries a 4.0 GPA. Pasadyn was presented with the award during the second day of the NCAA Championships on Thursday night in Atlanta.
 
Pasadyn qualified for the 2022 NCAA Championships in the 400-yard individual medley, 200-yard backstroke, and 200-yard individual medley. At the 2022 Ivy League Championships, Pasadyn won both the 400 IM and 200 back, while helping the Crimson capture the 800 free relay. She also placed second in the 200 IM, posting NCAA B cut times in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 back.
 
As a first-year in 2019-20, Pasadyn qualified for the NCAA Championships as an individual in the 200 IM and 400 IM in addition to earning an invitation in the 200 back prior to the event's cancelation due to COVID-19. She was also set to compete in three relays – the 400 medley relay, 800 free relay, and 400 free relay.
 
The Elite 90, an award founded by the NCAA, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The Elite 90 is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships.
 
Eligible student-athletes are sophomores or above academically who have participated in a sport for at least two years with their school. All ties are broken by the number of credits completed.
