CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 2 Radcliffe Lightweight Rowing team defeated No. 7 MIT but fell to No. 4 Boston University to place second in the 2022 Linda Muri Cup race. The Black and White rowed to a 30-second victory over MIT but fell to the Terriers who got revenge on the crew that defeated them last weekend at the Knecht Cup Regatta.
 
Two Black and White boats posted solid times in the Varsity Fours race but were both slightly outpaced by Terrier crews.
 
Radcliffe suffered the same fate in the Varsity Pairs race, falling behind by less than three seconds in a tight race.
 
UP NEXT
The Black and White will be back on the Charles River next weekend for a race against Bates college in what will be the team's final tune-up before the Eastern Sprints on May 1. The Radcliffe-Bates dual is set to take place on Saturday, April 23 and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
