WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – Hard-Radcliffe Lightweight Rowing concluded its 2022 campaign with a fifth-place finish in the varsity eight grand final in the IRA National Championships on Mercer Lake. The lightweight fours and doubles boats finished in second and third, respectively, in their grand finals.
The duo of
Clara Duffy and
Calliste Skouras were first to row in the final day of action on Mercer Lake, placing third. The boat posted a time of 7:57.467 in the race.
In fours action, Radcliffe was slightly outpaced by cross-town rival, MIT, finishing second in the grand final. The boat, stroked by
Alexa Jacques, defeated rivals BU, Princeton and Stanford in the race.
In the final race of the day, the Black and White's varsity eight entry finished fifth in its grand final with a time of 7:04.685.
