Harvard Side Sells Out in Less Than a Week for The Game

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In less than a week, Crimson football fans have sold out the Harvard side of Harvard Stadium for The Game against Yale on Nov. 19. This season's matchup will mark the first time since 2016 that the event will be held inside Harvard Stadium.

In response to popular demand from the Crimson faithful, the Harvard fan section is expanding to include additional seating sections in Harvard Stadium. You can still secure seats in the expanded fan section at tickets.gocrimson.com.

About The Game

The 138th playing of The Game, scheduled for Nov. 19, should prove exciting if last year's game is any indication. Harvard edged the Bulldogs, 34-31, in New Haven, Conn. when Luke Emge connected on a 12-yard touchdown pass to Kym Wimberly with 22 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

The Game, which draws sellout crowds to Harvard Stadium, has been won by the Crimson 19 of the last 27 times, including 11 of the previous 14. The two teams last met in the Boston area in 2018, with Harvard emerging with the 45-27 victory at Fenway Park.

The Crimson is coming off an 8-2 campaign (5-2 Ivy League) in 2021, with the eight wins representing the program's most since 2015. Harvard, which led the FCS in rushing defense and finished in the top 10 in numerous statistical categories, ended the campaign by receiving votes in both major top-25 polls.
