CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's ice hockey announced its 2022-23 schedule today (Aug. 4) as the Crimson will play 29 regular season contests and one exhibition game.

Harvard returns four of its top five scorers, four of its top five defensemen (games played), and starting goaltender
Mitchell Gibson (18-10-1, 2.17 GAA, .918 Save %). from a 2021-22 team that finished 21-11-3 (14-6-2 ECAC Hockey), earning an NCAA Tournament bid and winning the program's 11th Whitelaw Cup as ECAC Hockey Tournament champions. Rising sophomore
Matthew Coronato (18 goals, 18 assists), Harvard's leading scorer from a year ago returns, as does AHCA Second Team All-American defenseman
Henry Thrun (seven goals, 25 assists).
Harvard will play 13 games at Bright-Landry Hockey Center, including its exhibition contest against the University of Guelph on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
The Crimson will open the regular season with four straight contests at home, starting with games against Dartmouth and Princeton on Oct. 28-29, and continuing the following weekend with contests against Brown and Yale (Nov. 4-5).
Non-conference highlights include games at New Hampshire (Nov. 15), a series at Michigan (Nov. 25-26) – Harvard's first trip to Ann Arbor since Dec. 2001, and contests at BU (Dec. 30) and at home against Northeastern (Jan. 1)
The 70
th Beanpot will kick off on Monday, Feb. 6, with Harvard taking on Boston College.
