Men’s Soccer Heads across Town to Face Northeastern on Tuesday

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University men's soccer completes a two-game road swing when it travels across town to face Northeastern University at Parsons Field at 6:00 p.m. (NESN+/FloFC) after winning two of its first three games of the year. 

What to Know

  • For the season, junior Willem Ebbinge paces the Crimson with six points on two goals and two assists. Ebbinge ranks second in the Ivy League in points and goals, while sitting second in assists.
  • Seven different players have tallied points for Harvard on the season.
  • As a team, Harvard has established advantages in shots per game (65-29), shots on goal (29-13), and corner kicks (23-12) on the year. The Crimson ranks third in the NCAA in both shots per game (21.7) and shots on goal per game (9.7).
  • Harvard's goalkeepers have posted a 1.00 goals-against average thus far on the season.
  • In the team's last outing, junior Nik White scored an equalizing goal, and first-year goalkeeper Cullen MacNeil made six saves in his collegiate debut, but the Crimson fell at Vermont on Sept. 10.
