CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After rain washed away the first 36 holes of the Yale Invitational this weekend, Harvard women's golf was finally able to hit the course on Sunday morning. The Crimson's lineup performed well in the 18-hole tournament as the team finished up in fifth place after the Sunday round. Harvard's 12-over-par score was just two strokes off the second-place total of 10-over-par.
Bonnie Zhai's posted the best individual score in the round, carding an impressive one-over 73 to finish T6 in the event. First-year
Lauren Wong also turned in an impressive score with a three-over 75 while posting the second most pars in the event with 15. Wong finished tied for 15
th in her first collegiate tournament.
Bridget Ma had three birdies on the afternoon in her three-over par round this afternoon and senior captain
Meiyi Yan shot a one-under 35 on the front nine on Sunday. Both golfers tied Wong with a T-15 finish.
Isabella Gomez carded a five-over 77 and
Iris Wang posted a six-over 78 to round out the day for the Crimson.

Harvard women's golf will fly out to Denver this Friday to compete at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate hosted at the University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will take place on Oct. 6-8.
