CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's lightweight rowing concluded the 58
th annual Head of the Charles by taking home gold in the Men's Lightweight Eights for back-to-back years. Earlier in the day, the Crimson recorded a pair of top-six finishes in the Men's Lightweight Fours.
To open the day on the Charles River, Harvard landed in back-to-back to spots on the leaderboard, taking fifth and sixth place in the Men's Lightweight Fours event. The Harvard B boat, comprised of
Jillian Medina (C),
Joost van Asperen (1),
James Stevenson (2), Alberto Lasso (3), and
Finn Crawford (4), led the way by locking in a top-five finish. The Crimson finished with a time of 17:11.374 falling only behind Cornell, Penn, British Columbia, and Brock RC. Finishing directly behind, the Harvard A boat placed sixth with a time of 17:14.600. The second Harvard boat consisted of

The Crimson closed out the Head of the Charles in style, winning the Men's Lightweight Eights event for a second straight year.
