CAMBRIDGE, MA. - The Harvard Women's Volleyball Team (10-3, 3-1 in Ivy) won against the Princeton Tigers at home on Friday night, winning in five sets by scores of 25-21, 22-25, 25-17, 22-25, and 15-11.
In a back and forth set one, Harvard secured the win. The Crimson started a block party, with seven points scored in the first set off blocks alone. Harvard was able to put together a late streak and push ahead of the Tigers after a 20-20 tie. The set ended 25-22 Crimson.
Set two went the Tigers' way in a 22-25 finish. Princeton took an early lead after falling in set one and never looked back.
Set three did not disappoint. The Crimson came out red hot, starting with a 7-2 lead before a Princeton timeout. Harvard looked to be aggressive on the track right out of the gates, as they had a .389 hitting percentage in the 3rd set. Ashley Wang ended the set with an impressive kill, 25-17.
Set four started off slow for the Crimson. They fell behind seven points mid-way through the set, yet they stayed in the fight, coming within one point in the final stretch. Unfortunately, the Crimson couldn't come out in the final of set 4.
The Crimson built off the momentum they had at the end of the set four in set five. They started out with a 9-4 lead early. Although the Tigers edged its way back to a close game, the Crimson were able to survive and advance! Crimson win!

Ashley Wang ended the night with another triple double! She had 17 kills, 19 assists, and 18 digs on the night! This is her sixth of the season and is one shy of tying the school record!

It was a block party tonight for Harvard, as they totaled 19 swats at the net. They also had 32 block assists.

Its hitting percentage tonight was an astounding .313 compared to Princeton's .168.
