CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Football senior
Kwaku Adubofour has been named one of 15 finalists for the 2023 FedEx Ground Doris Robinson Scholar-Athlete Award, Stats Perform announced today.
The ninth-annual award, named after the late school teacher and wife of legendary coach Grambling State coach Eddie Robinson, is presented to an FCS student-athlete who excels on the playing field, in the classroom and across the community.
Adubofour helped the Crimson win its 18
th Ivy League title in 2023, with his play on the defensive line. Off the field, meanwhile, the senior volunteers at the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter and in the emergency department at Massachusetts General Hospital. A native of Norristown, Pennsylvania, Adubofour also is active in the Harvard community as the founder of Harvard State 1636, a student organization that focuses on promoting school spirit.
The recipient will be announced on Dec. 12, and will be honored at the FCS National Awards banquet on Jan. 6 in Frisco, Texas – on the eve of the national championship game.
