Harmoni Turner helped lift the Crimson to 1-1 on the year.

Katie Krupa down low for the layup and the foul. From there the Eagles went on their own run to take their biggest lead of the quarter 12-5. The Crimson closed the quarter strong with a trio of two-point buckets from
Elena Rodriguez,
Saniyah Glenn-Bello, and Turner to have Harvard down just one going into the second frame.
Boston College controlled most of the second quarter, growing their lead to as many as 19. With the Eagles notching a layup at the 3:07 mark, Harvard proceeded to shut Boston College down for the remainder of the first half to go into the locker room down single digits.
Turner and the rest of the Crimson squad began their late game heroics midway through the third quarter. With Boston College up 44-30 the Crimson went on a 12-4 run consisting of seven points from Turner and five from first-year,
Abigail Wright. The Crimson entered the final quarter down just six.
With a combination of clutch shots and gritty defense, the Crimson pulled within one at the half way mark of the final frame following a midrange jumper from Glenn-Bello. From there on out it was all Crimson, outscoring the Eagles 10-2 in the final 4:15 of the contest. A layup from Rodriguez gave the Crimson their first lead since the opening minutes of the game and a corner three from Turner shifted all momentum to Harvard. A string of five made free-throw closed out the 66-59 victory for the Crimson.
Harvard Highlights
- Turner contributed 26 points, seven rebounds, and two steals to lead the Crimson over the Eagles.
- With 18 and 26 in the first two games this season, Turner is now just 22 points away from a career milestone of 1000 points.
- Two other Crimson joined Turner with double digit points as Rodriguez contributed 14 and Glenn-Bello dropped ten.
- Rodriguez led the Crimson in a pair of other categories by grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out a trio of assists.
- First-year Wright once again attacked the offensive boards hard with five of her seven rebounds coming on the offensive end. Wright had a balanced effort in the contest, contributing seven points.
- The Crimson won the rebound battle to help secure their win, grabbing 46 to the Eagles 41 boards.
- With the win Harvard brought the all-time series against Boston College to a tie with each team having accounted for 10 wins. The Crimson have now won its last two matchups against the crosstown foe.
