CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Football earned three All-America honors and 19 All-Ivy League selections from Phil Steele, it was announced today. The Crimson had a fourth-team All-American and a pair of Freshman All-Americans. At the Ivy level, Harvard boasted five first-, second-, and third-team selections, and had four on the fourth-team.

Senior defensive lineman
Thor Griffith was named a fourth-team All-American, marking the second straight season in which Harvard has landed a player on the publication's list. The Portsmouth, New Hampshire, native was a third-team selection a season ago along with
Truman Jones '23. Griffith was also a Phil Steele Freshman All-American in 2021.

First-years
Xaviah Bascon and
Damien Henderson, meanwhile, were named to the Freshman All-America squads. Bascon, from nearby Nahant, was selected to the first team as a return specialist, with Henderson, a defensive back, earning a spot on the third team. This marks the first time the Crimson has had two first-years named to a Freshman All-America team.

Harvard is coming off a 2023 season in which it won its 18
th Ivy League championship. The Crimson finished the season with an 8-2 record overall and a 5-2 mark vs. Ivy competition.
