Tjerk van Herwaarden and Harvard Field Hockey head its sight sets on building upon the success of the previous season heading into 2023. Coming off a 13-win season in 2022, Harvard won 16 games in 2023 and was a force all season after multiple wins over ranked opponents and boasting a nationally recognized defense that only allowed two goals in a month heading into the NCAA Tournament. Harvard had contributions from all four classes in 2023 as different players stepped up at many different times throughout the incredible run.

Lara Beekhuis for the rights to host first ever Ivy Field Hockey Tournament. Continuing what it had done all the season, Harvard completed the undefeated Ivy season with a pair of wins at Berylson Field to send the program to the NCAA tournament for the second time in three seasons.
