CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Harvard ski teams return from a successful Harvard Carnival, placing fifth overall from the combined efforts of both the nordic and alpine teams. The carnival concluded on Saturday, Feb. 11 after the slalom races at Waterville Valley and the nordic 3x5km relay that was broadcasted on ESPN+.

Head of Dublin School Brad Bates talked about the history of the Dublin Nordic Center and how the venue came to be. Bates said, "It's been a dream come true to put this nordic center together." It was the vision of Michael Lehman, the son of one of the founders of the Dublin School who went to Dublin and Harvard University as well.

Chris City '94 talked about his Harvard Carnival experience in addition to the amount of time and effort involved in order to host. City talked about this year's group of athletes and said, "This is a phenomenal group and incredibly hard working team, and I couldn't be happier with the work they have done."
UP NEXT
The Harvard ski teams have one final carnival left hosted by Williams College this coming weekend Friday, Feb. 17-18. The alpine team will compete at Jiminy Peak in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The nordic team will compete at Prospect Mountain Nordic Ski Center in Woodford, Vermont.
