Watch: Skiing 2025-26 Season Recap

Harvard skiing continued to surge in the 2026 season as the Crimson put together impressive results throughout the season, continued to grow a positive team culture, and qualified skiers for the NCAA Championships from both the alpine and nordic teams.

Behind outstanding results from sophomore Duncan Armstrong and senior Luke Kearing, the men's alpine team made its presence felt throughout the EISA season. On the strength of incredible finishes at the NCAA Regional Championships, both Armstrong and Kearing qualified for the NCAA Championships and represented the Crimson with pride in Utah.

On the women's side of the alpine team, sophomore Skylar Sheppard displayed tremendous resiliency in returning from a season-ending injury a season ago, posting several strong results across multiple carnivals. Several other student-athletes on the women's side showed promise over the course of the EISA season in support of Sheppard.

A young men's nordic team continued to show growth and development over the course of the year with sophomore Bennett Hutchison moving into a leadership role with the team as a captain, and several sophomores and first-years tallying top-30 finishes.

On the women's side of the nordic squad, the team demonstrated remarkable depth with senior Hayden McJunkin, juniors Breagh Bridge, Clara Lake, and Meredith Schwartz, and sophomore Hanna Wilsey all registering top-30 finishes over the course of the year. Schwartz punctuated the team's season with her debut at NCAAs.

Harvard's season culminated at the NCAA Championships with Duncan Armstrong, Luke Kearing, and Meredith Schwartz all representing the Crimson at the event. Armstrong impressed in his second straight appearance at the event, Schwartz capped off a strong season with a solid weekend, and Kearing concluded his Crimson career in a way to remember.

At the conclusion of the season, the Crimson bid farewell to an outstanding senior class, including Luke Kearing and Hayden McJunkin, who demonstrated a commitment to success in competition, in the classroom, and in the community.

Under the direction of ninth-year head coach Scott MacPherson on the alpine side and second-year head coach Cate Brams on the nordic side, the Crimson demonstrated exemplary character throughout the 2026 season as the program looks to continue to build on its upward trajectory into 2027.
