Providence, R.I. - The Harvard track and field team sent athletes from the throwing squad to the Brown Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 18.
Kenneth Ikeji highlighted the day by improving his school record in the weight throw.
Harvard Highlights
• From this point on, every time Ikeji throws a perosnal best it will be a new school record as well. He did just that to win the Brown Invitational with a throw of 21.62m (70' 11.25"). This was over two meters further than anyone else in the competition.

Sarah Omoregie threw a personal best as well in the shot put, inching closer to breaking a school record herself. She threw 17.08m (56' 0.50") to win the Brown meet by almost three meters.
• Stehpanie Ratcliffe finished the Crimson sweep of every event they were entered in, throwing 21.38m (70' 1.75") to win the women's weight throw.

Harvard will travel to Dartmouth to compete in the 2023 Ivy League Heptagonal Championship meet next weekend, from Feb. 25 to 26. The meet will be streamed on ESPN+.
