GREENWOOD, Ind. – For the first time in his Crimson tenure, junior
Tito Alofe is the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Team Member of the Year after a fantastic year both in competition and in the classroom.
A national standout in the men's high jump across the last three track & field campaigns, the 2025-26 season saw Alofe breakthrough, becoming the first student-athlete in school history to win an NCAA national title in the indoor men's high jump at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships. During the outdoor season, Alofe once again shined, earning All-America Second Team honors with a 12
th place showing at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Now a five-time All-American in the men's high jump, Alofe is only the second men's student-athlete since 2000 to win a NCAA national championship in indoor competition in school history. Along with his national accolades, Alofe is also a three-time Ivy League champion in the men's outdoor high jump. A native of Peachtree City, Georgia, Alofe is a dual concentrator in neuroscience and economics.
