BOCA RATON, Fla. – Harvard University baseball rallied from a five-run deficit to take an 11-9 lead in the ninth inning before falling in 10 innings at Florida Atlantic University, 12-11, on Monday night at FAU Stadium.

Closing out a four-game series, the Crimson (1-11) trailed 8-3 entering the seventh inning before scoring eight of the game's next nine runs to pull ahead 11-9 in the top of the ninth prior to the host Owls (11-6) tying the game at 11-11 in the bottom of the ninth and walking off with the win in the 10
th.

How It Happened
- FAU opened the game with a 3-0 lead behind three runs in the bottom of the first.
- Harvard responded in the top of the third, tying the game at 3-3. Cooper started the scoring with an RBI double to left field before Rounds followed with a two-run home run down the left field line.
- The Owls re-took a 4-3 edge with a run in the last of the third. The hosts extended their advantage to 8-3 with a four-run fifth inning.
- The Crimson knotted the score at 8-8 with five runs in the top of the seventh. Baldwin started the stanza's scoring with an RBI double to left field before Messervy scored on a passed ball. Cooper and Rounds each followed with RBI singles before Berger capped the frame with a sacrifice fly to center field.
- The hosts moved back ahead at 9-8 with a run in the bottom of the eighth.
- Harvard took its first lead of the game behind a three-run top of the ninth inning. Feller and Messervy each knocked RBI singles before Jacobsen lifted a sacrifice fly to center field.
- FAU plated two runs in the last of the ninth, tying the game at 11-11 as the Crimson went to extra innings for the third time this season. The Owls walked off with the win behind a run in the bottom of the 10th.
