Harvard Women's Fencing Completes Competition at NCAA Northeast Regionals, Qualifies Seven for NCAA Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Women's Fencing qualified seven fencers for the NCAA Championships at the NCAA Northeast Regionals on Sunday, March 12.
 
Elizabeth Tartakovsky (sabre), Zoe Kim (sabre), Emily Vermeule (epee), Faith Park (epee), Lauren Scruggs (foil), Ever Marinelli (foil) and Annora Lee (foil) all qualified for the NCAA Championships.
 
With only two athletes eligible per weapon, the Crimson will send six fencers to the NCAA Championships from March 23-26 in Durham, North Carolina. A decision on which fencers will compete in the event will be made at a later date.
 
Five Crimson fencers medaled in the regional event. Emily Vermeule (epee) and Elizabeth Tartakovsky (sabre) each won gold in their respective weapons, Lauren Scruggs (foil) won silver and Faith Park (epee) and Ever Marinelli (foil) each won bronze.
 
Additionally, two Crimson fencers finished in the top-10, Annora Lee (foil – 6th) and Zoe Kim (sabre – 6th).
